These aren't stock photos or carefully staged press images. They're what was actually in front of the lens — the cobblestones at 7am, the bar counter at midnight, the view from the miradouro before anyone else arrived.

Shot on Sony Alpha and iPhone. Processed lightly, or not at all. Every gallery is a companion to its issue — the visual record of the city that the writing tries, and always fails, to fully describe.
